Six questions. The shift starts here.

A two-minute Morning Briefing. We write the summary, pre-job questions, hazards, controls, PPE, boundaries, communication, and emergency procedures for this shift, this crew, this site.

Morning Briefing

Six answers. One briefing.
Capture the response assignment, scene conditions, equipment, accountability, and emergency signals before the crew commits.

Name the response assignment, operation, or objective the crew is taking on.

List apparatus, PPE, respiratory protection, tools, and communications equipment.

Give the scene, access point, staging area, traffic exposure, or operating zone.

Call out scene stability, smoke or chemical exposure, traffic, weather, access, and anything changing.

List unit identifiers, assignments, dispatch or command contacts, partner agencies, and who is available for rehab.

Six answers become a briefing the crew finishes in one read.
